Christmas Edition:  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of my readers.  I want to take a minute and let you know how much I appreciate all of you taking the time to read through my blogs/articles.  Everyday I am amazed at the viewership that my Blog gets. Thank you SO Much. My wish for this Holiday season is for my readers/community to give a little bit back.  I am challenging each and every one of you to help out someone less fortunate than you this Holiday season.  It can be a small as cooking a meal for the senior citizen living next door to you.  It could be donating clothes to a charity.  It could be paying for the groceries of the person behind you at the grocery store.  This is a challenge!  I look forward to hearing your ideas and stories about giving back.  Thank you again.

  1.  Greg Olsen  Buccaneers vs Panthers  —  Greg Olsen is back!  Last week he showed the Packers how talented he is.  He caught 9 of 12 targets for 116 and a touchdown.  He was one of 2 tight ends that crossed over the 25 point threshold last week.  The Buccaneers allow the most passing yards to opposing quarterbacks.  Olsen happens to be the favorite target of Cam Newton. Most passing yards given up plus Cam favorite target.  I want Olsen in my lineups.
  2. Evan Engram  Giants vs Cardinals  —  Evan Engram has become a reliable target for whom ever the Giants start at quarterback.  Engarm is leading the Giants in targets, receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.  Last week he caught 8 of 13 targets for 87 yards.  He also added 1 carry for 14 yards.  Engram has been involved in every single game this year.  He has had at least 4 catches in all but 2 games this season.  I believe that trend will continue as the Cardinals will put their best cornerback on Sterling Shepard and that will allow Engram to roam the field making catches all over the field.
  3. Kyle Rudolph  Vikings vs Packers  —  Rudolph has scored a touchdown in 4 straight games. Kyle Rudolph has proven to be a reliable option in this high-powered offense.   Rudolph is one of the pieces in the number 8 passing offense in the NFL.  Those 2 stats alone are enough for me to start Kyle Rudolph this week.  I’ ll start him and hope for a touchdown.

Antonio Gates  Chargers vs Jets  —  Antonio Gates has been thrust back into the spotlight!  Hunter Henry has been placed on the Injured Reserved list.  That should lead to an increase in Antonio Gates role in this offense.  At this point in Gates career he has become touchdown dependent.  After 15 years in the league he can no longer stretch the field but his hands remain as reliable as ever.  As an ex basketball player Gates can still post up a defender and catch a few balls.  If he catches 5 balls and scores a touchdown, that would be a good day.  Sleeper.

Vernon Davis  Broncos vs Redskins  —  Vernon Davis has been relegated to being an extra blocker for the Washington Redskins.  The Redskins have been hit by the injury bug along their offensive line.  Vernon has been used to shore up this weakness.  Thus he is running less and less pass routes.  It has been 5 weeks since Vernon Davis has had any impact offensively for this team.  Over the last 5 weeks Vernon has average 1.8 receptions for 25 yards per game. Those are not numbers I want to invest in.  Against the Broncos I expect Vernon to again be called upon to help out the ailing offensive line.  Please sit him.
